Review-Programmed by C-64 and Amiga 500 living legend Manfrez Trenz (the guy who created Turrican among others and probably gave Rendering Ranger its terrible name), this game has a distinctive European feel to it and was curiously only released in Japan.
The graphics are clean and the animation is silky smooth. The shooting parts are incredible. Is this really a Super Famicom?
Tons of colors on screen coupled with great parallax scrolling and Mode 7 extravaganza make this game the perfect showcase of the Super Famicom hardware capabilities! The speed levels (Project X and Aeroblaster style) are also very well done and will get your adrenaline pumping!
Bottom line: was unfortunately released too late when interest of the industry and of the players was shifting elsewhere, to more powerful consoles. A forgotten masterpiece. 9/10
