Killer Instinct

version: usa - year: 1995 - developer: rare - publisher: nintendo - format: super nintendo, 32 mbit cartridge - condition: near mint - rarity: uncommon

Rare brings back rendered graphics on Super Nes but the effect isn't as convincing as in Donkey Konk Country.

and the port of the arcade game is well done even though it can't be pixel perfect for obvious hardware limitations

The included music cd

Review - Killer Instinct is a decent fighting gameand although far from being identical to the arcade game it is based on, a nice job has been done at rare considering the limitations of the Super Nintendo hardware.

Personally, I could never get into the 100 hit combo thing although Killer Instinct gathered a cult following.

Bottom line: One of the better 1 on 1 fighters available on the Super Nes. Just don't expect a pixel perfect coin-op port though. 8,5/10
