Review - Reminiscent of Super Shinobi and Shinobi III on Mega Drive, but with a darker, feudal Japan setting, Hagane graphics have an unmistakable look and feel which make it well worth trying out. Too bad this game pisses me off so badly!

I invariably got stuck early in the game (the speed level 1-4) in which if you don't time your jumps flawlessly, your stock of players can get wiped out within seconds. This of course results in sending you back to the beginning of the level (1-1). After trying this for a few times, I just gave up in utter frustration. This game sure needs a second chance but for now, I'll leave it at that.

Bottom line: Stylish Shinobi clone with frustrating difficulty spikes. To be played more.
