You can run on three different planes to avoid enemies or circle around them. Remember to use your special moves often, they will save you a lot of trouble. For instance, back-forward+fire will fire a lethal projectile. Use it against the buddha boss!

...definitely spectacular, and feels like a Contra III level
Review-Obscure Mecha action game in which you spend your time running, flying and beating the crap out of robots.
The concept is similar to the running levels of Alien Storm and 8 Man but technically it is certainly not as impressive.
Edono Kiba isn't great but it isn't without merit either. It is somewhat original, it includes some mild mode 7 effects and overall, it offers a decent diversion if you are in the mood to play something different and not time-consuming.
Bottom line: slightly above average action game, worth a try. 6/10
