Review- Imagine that you are born with an ugly deformation, so your people decide to throw you in the ruins of a cursed castle.
Once inside, you have to find your way out. You begin your adventure empty handed. In the distance, a cage is hanging on the ceiling. Inside, a beautiful vison. Ethereal like pure light. Fragile as crystal. You will be afraid that such a beautiful creature might be wiped out by the blowing wind.
You will grow strong and determined. Your mission: free her and defend her all the way out of the castle. You grab her hand, and the adventure begins.
This game really left a mark in me. When you will see the delicate colors, the smooth animations, and the ephemeral shadows hunting you like persistent nightmares, and it will seem to you that you are actually daydreaming, then you will understand what a powerful experience Ico is.
Bottom line: one of a kind, the sort of game that blures the limit between games and art. 10/10
