Review - This side scrolling 3D beat'em up features some excellent character design and CG sequences and a decent story.

Also, the array of moves for each of the 3 controllable characters allows for some diversity in the attack patterns. Problem is, everything is over so quickly. Even if the concept of boosting your character's stats up like in an RPG is supposed to extend the life of the game, I don't think many players will feel like beating the game several times just to increase their attributes.

It's unfortunate because the game is visually stunning. It almost feels like the whole game should have been a subquest of FFX...

And by the way, the speeches are all English spoken and there is also an option in the game to change the menu text and the subtitles from Japanese to English! Square should do this more often.

Bottom line: nice but short brawler with cool character design. 6,5/10
