Review - I purchased this game full price eventhough I really didn’t know much about it but I was attracted by the character design and I thought that Konami would have been a guarantee of quality.

I also played konami's "Soul of the Samurai" before, so I thought 7 blades would have matched it. Well it doesn’t.

If you played Berserk on Dreamcast, you will be familiar with the play mechanics but here the graphics aren’t as detailed and as colorful. Add to this a camera which is sometimes slow to adjust and you get the picture…

Also, you will face countless enemies but they seem to just hang there like drones, waiting to be slashed in half. Their artificial intelligence is inexistent.

All in all, 7 Blades is a disappointment. Even the cinematics between one level and the other are mediocre. Konami didn’t do a great job this time.

Bottom line: average samurai cinematic action game from konami, which could have been much better. 6/10
