The graphics are incredibly detailed, with nice colors, great boss design and very smooth parallax scrolling.

Gameplay is very similar to R-type meaning it tends to be slow-paced.

If you don't feel like spending huge money, the CD version or the MVS cart are the options you should consider as the AES cart price is in the stratosphere.

Bottom line: a little masterpiece, much tougher than any of the other shooters on Neo-Geo. 9/10
