Review - Quality platformer with captivating audio-visuals.

The characterization of the environments is absolutely breathtaking while the fantasy setting is attaching and extremely inspired, sporting a glorious multi-layered parallax scrolling effect coupled with vibrant colors.

The excellent music is both atmospheric and soothing. Maybe Astal is a little bit on the easy side but it won’t hurt the overall experience.

As usual, the US box art is terrible if compared to the Japanese package but at least the dreadful Japanese song in the intro has been removed here, for the great happiness of my ears!

Bottom line: a wonderful platform game, with beautiful audio-visuals and lots of atmosphere....8/10
