The alien landscape is fascinating

It won't be easy to make your way in...

This ugly thing will take A LOT of bullets before going down. Not only it is very powerful, but it is also relatively smart.

Review - You are in a prisoners’ spaceships traveling God knows where.

When you start losing faith, a malfunction destroys the security system of your cage. As you sneak out, you realize that the prison-ship seems deserted. No signs of people around.

Steamy corridors close on you as you try to escape from this nightmare. You eventualy see some sort of pale light in front of you. Gathering your courage all at once, you jump out.

What you see steals your breath. Eden. Or so it seems. A gorgeous waterfall in the distance. Green hills all around you. A blue sky with sun rays filtering through the far clouds. The singing of birds. "Is this paradise?" you ask yourself as you walk around almost lost in the magnificense of the surrounding.

You look behind your shoulder and you see the spaceship crushed into the rocks. All of a sudden, horrible aliens come out of a nearby cave. And you sink into hell one more time…

I recently reinstalled Unreal on my Old P3 550 mhz, equipped with a Voodoo 5500 and I updated the video card drivers to AmigaMerlin 3.1 R11 and the result has been amazing as I could run the game flawlessly not only with Direct 3D but also with Glide 3Dfx which in my opinion has a better video quality than Direct 3D for this game. No luck in trying to run the game with Open GL though as it was very choppy...

Bottom line: evocative, beautiful and playable, a masterpiece in the fps arena. 10/10
