Consider this: once you lose a ship, you start from the last checkpoint with no weapons... unless you want to consider the basic boogers-shooting gun you start with as a weapon
This ugly green thing has been sitting here for the past 10 000 years. What makes you think you'll be able to make him move?
The design of the baddies is cool
Review-This horizontal shooter is actually pretty good although it doesn't really manage do anything that isn't possible on a regular Pc Engine.
Large end of level bosses and fast scrolling are welcome features though but beware not to die because you will lose all your weapons…and no one will save you then!
Bottom line: a decent gradius play-alike, specific to the Super Grafx...7/10
