The Japanese Master System (left) is a restyled Sega Mark III and it looks just like a western Master System (but it comes with a built in FM pack). Pal and US cartridges do not fit into it though! To the right, you can see a Pal Master System converter which works great on a US Genesis. This way, Pal Master System games run at 60 Hz on it! oh and no, jp Mark III carts do not fit into the Pal Master System converter...
