Altered Beast is one of the most ported games ever.

 

The transformation animation of the wolf was very impressive at the time.

 

This must be one of the coolest bosses in videogames history!

 
Thewhite two-headed wolves are the ones who drop the transformation orbs

Review - The premise of this sidescrolling fighter is that by collecting 3 magic orbs, you morph into a particular beast.

Werewolfs, dragons, bears, tigermen...have all powerful specials that will help you go further into the game. Personally, I think that the Megadrive port is more playable even if it uses a more limited color palette.
