Here, Ifrit the fire spirit makes an appearance in the form of a super effective magic summon attack.

Review - Chains Of Olympus is a fantastic portable version of God Of War, and plot-wise it could be considered as a prequel to the first game in the series.

All the elements that made God of War such a great franchise have somehow been fitted into the PSP. So you’ll get wonderful graphics, cool cut-scenes, challenging bosses and super smooth animations.

The level of detail in certain backgrounds is a bit lacking sometimes, but that was probably necessary to keep the frame rate high. Also, puzzles are back although they seem to lack originality here, and generally they are the least exciting part of the package.

Bottom line: God of War Chain Of Olympus is a testimony of the power of the PSP when in expert hands. Not only it looks stunning, but it is also very playable and fun. Make sure not to miss it! 9/10
